Overview
One of the busiest airports in the world, Heathrow’s Terminal 5 serviced over 30 million passengers in 2017 and this number is growing year on year.
During the Heathrow Terminal 5 recent refurbishment, Fluid Flooring was appointed by ATS Interiors to provide a new flooring package for the VIP check-in area.
Fluid Flooring contacted C.A.T. to design and manufacture a bespoke profile that would not only withstand the extreme level of foot traffic but also meet the design principles set for the refurbishment.
C.A.T. was presented with a fabrication template a staggering 40 linear metres long. SSNF stainless steel single naplock profile in a brushed finish was fabricated to produce the enduring 40-metre flowing curve and the results were fantastic.
