CAT Kliks Clip in Flooring Trims

The CAT Kliks Clip In Trim Range encompasses many different materials and trim types. Aluminium clip in trims are available as well as solid brass clip tops and stainless steel capped trims also known as FAB Trims.

Our clip In trims sometimes called clip top transition strips are fitted in conjunction with a PVC or aluminium bases and are height adjustable to suit a wide variety of floor coverings and situations. The base is fixed to the subfloor with adhesive and or mechanical fixings, after which the floor covering is installed. Lastly, the trim is fitted over the base and dressed down to meet the floor covering creating a neat and secure transition.

FAQs

What does Kliks mean?

The term "Kliks" is a CAT Brand that refers to the CAT Clip-in flooring trims that are installed in conjunction with a PVC base such as the KB1 Base or KKSBP20 Base.

Can the Kliks Trims be installed with Oak Floors?

The CAT Kliks range is perfectly suited to be fitted with timber flooring where expansion gaps are required as the timber expands and contracts with humidity and temperature changes throughout the year.

Can I use the Kliks Trims with Carpet?

If the transition is between a resilient floor covering such as oak flooring and carpet then the KKSBP bases should be used. The total height of the underlay and carpet and the density of the carpet will dictate which base should be used.
