Recycling at C.A.T

Although C.A.T offers a wide and comprehensive range of profiles, these are made predominantly from just four basic materials; Brass, Aluminium, Stainless Steel and uPVC. All of these materials are 100% recyclable at the end of their useful life by means of disposal at a suitable recycling/waste management centre.

C.A.T. take recycling and waste management seriously and make every effort to ensure that all aspects of our business are executed in the 'greenest' way possible. This includes being energy and resource-efficient and being diligent in how we dispose of our process wastes.

With thousands of tonnes of metals passing through our factory every year we inevitably amass unavoidable cutting waste - or scrap.

To help maintain our 'green' credentials we send this waste - brass, aluminium or stainless steel, to be recycled and re-used by industries throughout the world thus reducing the need to mine for base minerals and ores.
