Overview
CAT BN69 solid brass stair nosings were chosen to help compliment the £50 million refurbishment of this historic 19th century country house.
Around half the budget was spent on re-instating original features, the other on transforming the bedrooms and public spaces by installing custom woven carpet to communal areas including staircases, restaurants, cinema and not forgetting the Gin Bar. Part of our on-site survey was creating templates from multiple shaped steps, for our fabrication department to produce a custom fit.
The Grade 2 listed property was originally designed by the famous London theatre architect Samuel Beazley. Having a diverse past saw the building being used as a horticultural college from 1903-1960’s training the Women’s Land Army during both World Wars, and the home of the High Sheriff of Warwickshire.
